The PReasy 4000 series is yet another example of safe PR electronics products. The PReasy modules were designed to achieve optimal process efficiency and we aimed to meet user expectations with these 3 characteristics:

Universal
From all aspects of the design PR electronics has retained the universality of the modules. With 4 products in the 4000 series, we cover around a hundred applications, which reduces stocks by increasing flexibility and competitiveness.

  • 21.6..253 Vac / 19.2..300 Vdc universal power supply.
  • Universal input for mA, V, Pt100, TC, R lin. and potentiometer.
  • Universal programming front 4501, which automatically recognizes the module and adapts the corresponding menu.


User friendly
Easy configuration for the user which does not require a detailed manual. The following features optimize the handling of the PReasy 4000 series:

  • Very easy drop-down menu with help text that guides the user step by step.
  • All options are configurable from the front panel, without the use of a PC, switches or any other specific tool.


Reliability - 5 year warranty

Product reliability has always been the watchword for PR electronics. Securing the installation of our customers also involves eliminating all risks, e.g. : inevitable mounting or handling error in emergency situations. In addition to the 5 year warranty, the PReasy 4000 series offers the following protections:
  • 2.3 kVac galvanic isolation between input, supply, output and relays.
  • Advanced sensor error detection with alarm using relays or analog output.
  • Simulation of the process using the relays or the analog output.


The 4114 and 4116 are suitable for SIL applications (level 2).

  • FM approved for installation in Div. 2.
  • The modules comply with NAMUR 21 (burst), NE43 (sensor error), LVD and UL 508 standards.


User-friendly configuration

The 4000 series modules can be supplied pre-configured by the factory, but of course the configuration front can also be used on site. In addition to the standard configurations of the input, output, relays, etc., the 4501 programming front offers other multiple functions, such as: calibration process, simulation mode and many others…
